Crater of Diamonds keeps cranking them out
Chad Johnson, who moved to Murfreesboro in February, nearly tossed a 4.38 carat, tea colored diamond. Johnson stowed his equipment after a weekend of sifting for diamonds and didn’t notice the cube shaped diamond until Monday.
The diamond, making approximately 80 that he has found since moving to Arkansas, is the second largest found this year. In June a Louisiana man found a 4.8 carat diamond.
