Movado teams up with Tom Brady for new watch
Movado has released the new 800 series watch with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady as the pitch man. The 800 series watch features precise Swiss quartz movements, wave-textured dials, and a Performance Steel™ cases with screw-down crowns. Water resistant to 200 meters and fashioned with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, the watch is available in three sizes: men’s (43mm), unisex (38mm), and women’s (28mm). The watches will be available in a range of colors, including black, white, blue, red, and yellow.
Prices will range from $700-$1,300 for standard 800 series watch and the limited edition automatic timepiece comes in two versions. One is made with Movado’s own trademarked surgical grade stainless steel alloy (“Performance Steel”), with black or silver dial, on Movado’s own composite resin XTremeResin strap, reinforced with Kevlar, the first strap of its kind in the Movado Series 800 line. There are 1,000 watches, $2,500 each. The other is solid 18K rose gold, on an alligator strap. There are 12 watches only, each numbered, $20,000 each.
